To those of you who might've been wondering -- I'm doing great in NaNo. In fact, I just broke 30k last night.

The sad thing? Out of these 30k, my second main character isn't even conscious for 10k altogether.

...I know I said no more updates. But, well, then I read the latest New Prince of Tennis. And, particularly, this page.

...After I was done with my squeeing (which wasn't very soon), I sat down and wrote this fic.

As you may hae noticed, I've given up on weekly updates. There are several reasons for this, only one of which is RL.

As some of you may know, next month is November. Which also means NaNoWriMo, or National Novel Writing Month. Which I'm definitely going to participate in, for the fourth time.

For those who don't know, NaNoWriMo is a challenge in which you write 50,000 words during the month of November. So, yes, it'll take up pretty much all my spare time in November, what little there's left after school and friends. Which means no fics.

This also means this month will be very quiet as well, as I'm concentrating my efforts on plotting.

As a bit of repayment, I'll try to post regular bits of what I'm writing for those interested. It's going to be original fiction, not fanfic this time; a semi-medieval fantasy world adventure/romance. With magic, murderers, and dragons. ♥ We'll see if I can fit in a pirate or two.

As for December... I'm currently not only plotting, but putting together a bunch of short fics/ficlets around a certain theme. From December 1st to 25th, I will be posting one fic or chapter every day, Internet conditions permitting.

With this, I hope you'll bear with me for the rest of the year. Next year, new insanities. ♥

A/N: This is a future fic based on the tenicamp RyoDan. You don't need to be familiar with the game to enjoy the fic; however, to understand it, you should know two things: First, Dan almost drowned as a little kid and has ever since been hydrophobic; second, Ryoma developed an allergy for grapes and almost died of anaphylaxis.

No, I didn't post a fic last week. This was due to various things such as baby-sitting, thunderstorms, and visiting friends eating away at my computer time until I simply couldn't get anything written in time. ...As you may have noticed, I haven't written much lately. Not even enough to keep up with what I promised I'd write.

Quite frankly, I'm frustrated with my lack of writing. Therefore, for the rest of the summer, I'm giving myself the following challenge:

Every week I have access to my laptop, I will post at least one fic. It may be however short or stupid or bad, but I will post at least one fic regardless. To give this challenge a common theme, these fics will all feature Atobe and/or Dan in various pairings. I aim to write them in every pairing I've ever written, played, planned, or read them in (with the exception of three/moresomes and coach pairings, I need to retain some sanity here), continuing the one-fic-a-week until I've covered all these pairings at least once.

If anyone'd like to make requests/give prompts/call me crazy or lazy or whatever, feel free to do so here.
